    Hi Linda!
Long time ago, I’m barb conover (now nutt). I was registrar at culver and you were at Brcn.

I now live and work in the St. Louis area, but I am hoping I can help me. My brothers and I are selling our home place in Quincy and it was built around 1900 o think. Can u please tell me how I go about looking up any history on it? My dad told me that a merkel had originally built it for his family.

Can u just tell me where I would look to find the owners; don’t think there were many; it’s a duplex, and original address would have been 1800 spring; it was a single family home and they changed it over the years to a duplex. The bottom apt address is 430 n 18th st.

I would have loved to see some pictures of in its day, but there may not be any. Any advice you could give me would be great!!
Hope all is well with you and your family!!
    Barb
